April Monthly Meeting
Our April monthly meeting will be held at the Brown and Caldwell office in Walnut Creek! The address is 201 N Civic Dr Suite 300, Walnut Creek, CA 94596, and we will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025. Take the South Lobby elevator to the 3rd floor.
The presentation will be provided by Richard Revolinsky, North American Operations Manager for GEONEX Inc. and is titled “Horizontal Hammer Boring – An Alternate Solution for New Installations in Rock, Cobbles, and Mixed Ground”. This presentation will provide attendees with in-depth knowledge of the principles of Horizontal Hammer boring, including an overview of critical components and a summary of the fundamental differences between it and other trenchless technologies. This will further the ability of designers, contractors, and asset owners to mitigate risks during installation in formidable ground conditions. Recent installations utilizing the Horizontal Hammer Boring method will be evaluated and discussed, including how the method has been successfully utilized to complete challenging projects.
