September Monthly Meeting

Our September monthly meeting will be held at the Brown and Caldwell office in Walnut Creek! The address is 201 N Civic Dr. Suite 300, Walnut Creek, CA 94596, and we will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026. Take the South Lobby elevator to the 3rd floor.
Bobby Vera from West Yost Associates will be presenting The Pressure’s On! Using Hydraulic Modeling to Diagnose Recycled Water System Surges. This presentation will highlight how focused field monitoring and a calibrated hydraulic model were used to investigate recurring pipeline breaks in Central San’s recycled water system. The analysis identified hydraulic transients associated with rapid customer demand changes and evaluated practical surge mitigation measures to improve system reliability.
