April Monthly Meeting

Hello PUG Members!

Our April monthly meeting will be held at the Brown and Caldwell office in Walnut Creek! The address is 201 N Civic Dr. Suite 300, Walnut Creek, CA 94596, and we will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 14 , 2026. Take the South Lobby elevator to the 3rd floor. 

Sanaz Ghalambor and Behzad Basiri will be presenting Thompson Pipe Group will provide a broad overview of Thompson’s full portfolio of pipe solutions used in open-cut construction, trenchless installation, and pipeline rehabilitation. We will also present an introduction to our fiberglass reinforced polymer (FRP) pipe and fittings, including how these products are manufactured, tested, and applied across water, wastewater infrastructure projects. Key performance attributes, design considerations, and installation advantages will be highlighted. The presentation will conclude with a focused case study, “FRP with Steel Fittings Accelerates Installation and Reduces Installation Costs”, showing how this hybrid design improves constructability, streamlines field installation, and reduces overall project costs
