December Meeting – In Person at Brown and Caldwell!
Hello PUG Members,
Our December monthly meeting will be held in-person, at the Brown and Caldwell office in Walnut Creek! The address is, 201 N Civic Dr Suite 300, Walnut Creek, CA 94596, and we will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec 13th, 2022. Take the South Lobby elevator to the 3rd floor.
The presentation will be provided by David Katzev from EBMUD and Professor Kenichi Soga from UC Berkeley and is titled, “EBMUD’s Collaboration with UC Berkeley on the Center for Smart Infrastructure”. The presentation will focus on the partnership between UC Berkeley and EBMUD to create a Center for Smart Infrastructure (CSI). The CSI will address challenges with aging infrastructure, climate change, water supply and natural resources, and emergency and community preparedness by using a holistic approach to provide resilient and sustainable networks through state of the art testing equipment, smart sensors and robotics, and big data and machine learning.
