EBMUD and its contractor SAK rehabilitated a 66-inch RCP interceptor in the 2025 dry weather season. The project was located in the City of Emeryville and the interceptor runs under the I-80 eastbound shoulder. The interceptor was rehabilitated with CIPP and the manholes were rehabilitated with Mainstay, a 12 MGD bypass system was required for the rehabilitation. This presentation will review lessons learned and go over lesser encountered situations like what to do when your CIPP liner catches on fire. Adam Mansour from EBMUD will be presenting.
